Abstract
Using ASCA, we observed three nearby spiral galaxies, M104, M51, and M106 and detected X-ray emission from hot gas of temperature kT~0.5 keV from all of them, in addition to the hard emission due to low luminosity active nucleus and discrete sources. From their X-ray images and spectral properties, three possible origins of hot gas are discussed such as starburst activity, heating by AGN jet, and halo in normal spiral galaxies.
